Kanban

All your work, column by column

Every document type has its own board. Drag the card and it changes status, group by owner or by customer, and read each column’s total without exporting anything.

  • Columns per document type
  • Totals in amounts or hours
  • Saved views per person

Work and planning

Kanban: what it does

Dragging moves it forward

Move the card to the next column and the document changes status. It is the same change you would make from the record, without opening it. Sharing out the morning’s work comes down to moving cards.

Columns for each type

A change request goes through Requested, Approved, In progress and Review. A breakdown waits for a spare part before it is verified. Every document type has its own columns, configured in Settings.

Groupings you can switch

Change the grouping without leaving the board: by owner, by customer or by priority. On Friday you look at it by person to see who is overloaded, and on Monday, by customer.

Totals per column

Each column adds up what it holds: deal value in an opportunity pipeline, hours on a work order board. You know how much is in negotiation or still to be done without building a spreadsheet.

Filters and saved views

Filter without reloading the page and save the view: “my work today”, “at risk”. The OVERDUE tag also shows on the card, so delays are visible from across the room.

How it works

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Define the columns

In Settings, per document type: the statuses your work goes through.

  2. Step 2

    Open the board

From each type’s menu, next to the list and the overdue view.

  3. Step 3

    Move, group and filter

Drag to change status, group by owner or by customer, and read the total of each column.

  4. Step 4

    Save your view

And have it at hand every morning, with your filters and your grouping.

Kanban board of tickets by status (unassigned, notified, assigned and repaired), each card with its priority, customer and agent or group.
Each column is a status and each card a document with its priority and owner (Spanish interface).

Honesty

Where it fits (and where it does not)

  • It is not used on mobile. The board is a desktop screen, on purpose: on the phone you work with the list, the record and the agenda.

  • A document type with no columns configured has no board. The columns are defined first in Settings.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Does it work for any document type?

Yes, for any type with its columns configured. Tickets, work orders, opportunities, complaints or your own types, each with its own columns.

Can I use the Kanban board on my phone?

No. It is a desktop screen, because dragging cards on a six-inch screen makes for a cramped, useless view. On the phone you have the list, the record and the agenda.

Does the board add up amounts?

Yes. Each column shows its total: the amount in a sales pipeline, the hours on a work board.

Does the AI move the cards?

Not on this board: here your team moves them. On the AI Autopilot board, marIA scores and prioritizes each document, and a person can take the wheel at any time. Every operation is logged with its cost, within the spending cap you set.
