Manufacturing and industrial plants

Fewer hours of downtime, with every breakdown on record

For manufacturing plants, food and beverage producers and industrial maintenance contractors. Preventive, corrective and predictive work on the same asset, the spare part located and the nonconformity closed with its verification.

  • MTBF, MTTR and availability per asset
  • Sensors and IoT with AI-based predictive maintenance
  • Spare parts by warehouse, lot and expiration date

Who it is for

Is it right for your company?

For anyone who maintains production lines, machines and plant facilities, with an in-house team or a contractor:

  • Manufacturing plants: metal, plastics, chemicals, paper and packaging
  • Food and beverage producers
  • Industrial maintenance contractors
  • Maintenance engineering firms

Not on the list? attendo can be set up for any line of business, with your document types, your fields and your vocabulary.

The challenges

Corrective work eats up preventive work

On a plant floor, every hour of downtime has a price. And the call is almost always made without reliability data at hand.

  • Preventive delayed

The line stops and nobody knows why

Breakdowns get written down but never analyzed. Replacements are decided by gut feeling, and preventive work is pushed back every time production is under pressure.

  • Out of stock

The critical spare is not there

Or it is there and nobody can find it. Stock lives in the ERP, the location in the storekeeper’s head and the expiration date nowhere.

  • Evidence pending

    Audits rebuilt by hand

Nonconformities, contractors on site and food safety records spread across paper. Before every audit, someone pulls them together.

How attendo solves it

Each challenge, with the modules that solve it

They are modules of the same platform: you turn on the ones you use, and they all work on the same record.

Preventive, corrective and predictive on the same asset

Plans trigger preventive work, and breakdowns come in through the machine’s QR code. Sensors and IoT feed AI-based predictive maintenance, and standardized metrics give MTBF, MTTR and availability per asset.

The spare part, located and on time

Several warehouses with stock, transfers, lots, expiration dates and serial numbers. Planned parts are reserved on the work order, and replenishment and purchase orders are generated automatically.

Quality and contractors, with evidence

A nonconformity is opened by QR code with photos and a checklist, and a staged process will not let it close without verification. Contractors receive and close their work in the vendor portal.

A typical day · example

A packaging machine that stops twice in one week

From a stoppage reported by QR code to a corrected preventive plan. Example scenario, with made-up data.

  1. Step 1

    The operator reports it

They scan the packaging machine’s QR code and mark it as stopped. The corrective work order is created with the asset, the line and the time of the stop.

  2. Step 2

    Maintenance steps in

The app shows it is the second stop caused by the same sensor. The technician replaces the part and draws it from the warehouse.

  3. Step 3

    A nonconformity is opened

Quality opens the nonconformity for the affected batch, and the process requires verification before it can close.

  4. Step 4

    The plan is reviewed

The plan efficiency analysis shows that this machine’s preventive plan is not preventing this failure. The maintenance lead adjusts the frequency.

Solutions for this industry

Where to start

They are the same platform with each area’s modules turned on. Start with one and add the rest without migrating anything.

marIA, the attendo AI

marIA on the plant floor

It analyzes what you already record so you can decide with data.

  • Predictive with your sensors

With sensors connected, AI models watch the readings and propose an intervention before the breakdown.

  • Likely diagnosis

Using the asset’s history, AI-CMMS proposes the most likely cause and the criticality of each breakdown.

  • Plans that get reviewed

The plan efficiency analysis shows which preventive tasks are not preventing failures and which ones are unnecessary.

What it does not do: It does not stop or start machines, and it does not change a plan unless a person approves it.

Honesty

What attendo does not do

Better to know before the demo. And if your case calls for another tool, we will tell you.

  • Not an MES or SCADA

attendo does not control production or machines. It receives data from sensors and other systems through the API, for maintenance.

  • Large plants with a reliability team

If you need full RCM and deep SAP integration, SAP PM or Maximo may be a better fit. We cover it in the market comparison.

  • Food safety, with checklists

HACCP is set up with checklists and plans. It is not a separate module with fixed templates.

Regulations

Regulations you can document

The obligation is yours and your engineer’s or advisor’s. attendo helps you document every inspection and every step, with its date, its author and its evidence.

  • HACCP · food safety

Cleaning, temperature and critical control point checks, as periodic checklists with their evidence.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Is it a CMMS for plants or for service companies?

Both. In a plant you maintain your own assets. If you also maintain customer equipment, each asset hangs from its customer and its contract.

Does it connect to sensors?

Yes. Sensors and IoT devices connect natively, and AI-based predictive maintenance works on their readings.

Does it calculate MTBF and MTTR?

Yes, per asset, family or plant, with standardized maintenance metrics and the availability of each machine.

Do I have to give up my ERP?

No. attendo is not an ERP or accounting software: it runs maintenance and connects with Odoo, Business Central, SAP Business One or Holded for items, purchasing and costs.

Does it work for food and beverage plants?

Yes. HACCP checks are set up as periodic checklists, and the warehouse tracks lots and expiration dates for parts and consumables.

Can contractors work in attendo?

Yes, in the subcontractor portal: they accept or decline each work order, propose a date, close it with their report and it goes into the asset’s history. They also upload the documents you require, with their expiration date, and you get a warning when one is not current.
