attendo vs. HubSpot: which one fits you

HubSpot is an excellent CRM and, for many companies, the right answer. But if your business is delivering a service, there is one question a marketing CRM cannot answer: how much it costs you to serve each customer.

What it does well

What HubSpot is good at

If your challenge is selling more, it is a great choice.

  • Top-tier CRM and marketing automation.
  • Inbound marketing, sequences and sales analytics that are hard to beat.
  • A huge ecosystem, training and community.
  • You can start using it without a big project.

Where it ends

Where it falls short

HubSpot knows what you invoiced. It does not know what it cost you.

An account’s profitability is not only in what it bills: it is in what it costs to serve. Hours, materials, deliveries, incidents and travel. That lives in another system, which is why the calculation never gets done.

Its service side is designed for digital support. Customer assets, work orders and field service reports are not its territory.

When to choose each one

The part other comparisons skip

We start with when HubSpot is the better choice. If that sounds like you, you can stop reading here.

When to choose HubSpot

  • Your priority is attracting and converting, and inbound marketing is your engine.
  • You sell products or software, not service hours.
  • Post-sale operations are run by another team with another system, and it works for you.

If that is you, HubSpot is the right answer.

When to choose attendo

  • When you sell services and need to know which account is profitable.
  • When the sales rep and the technician need to see the same record.
  • When contracts come up for renewal and you need to walk into the negotiation with data.
  • When you prefer one tool over a CRM plus an operations system.

Both at once

They can be combined

It is a legitimate option, and we are the ones saying it: HubSpot to attract, attendo to serve. They connect through the API and webhooks, and each does what it does best. If your marketing is strong, it is a perfectly reasonable answer.

How to migrate

How to move from HubSpot to attendo

Your whole customer base comes in; your stages stay the way you work them.

  1. Step 1

    You export from HubSpot

    Companies, contacts and deals.

  2. Step 2

    We import your customer base

Customers, contacts and contracts from Excel or CSV, and deals as opportunities in your pipeline.

  3. Step 3

We configure the way you sell

Stages, close reasons, quote templates and visibility profiles.

  4. Step 4

    You connect what stays

Your email and, if you keep HubSpot for marketing, the API connection.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Do they integrate?

Yes, through the REST API and webhooks. HubSpot to attract and attendo to serve is a reasonable combination.

Does attendo do marketing?

Yes: email campaigns with sequences, prospecting, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaigns with their ROI and posting to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. But it does not compete with HubSpot in inbound marketing automation, and we say so.

Can I import my customer base from HubSpot?

Yes: companies, contacts and deals, from Excel or CSV.

How does it calculate profitability per customer?

It cross-checks the hours logged, the materials used and the travel, which are already in attendo, against what was invoiced in the sales documents that go to your ERP.

Is the e-signature on a quote legally valid?

Yes. attendo eSign signs at the advanced or qualified level, with sealing and evidence. We will confirm in writing which signature level covers each case.
