Integration · Messaging
In many companies, the daily work is discussed in Teams. With this integration, what people write to the attendo bot reaches the Messaging inbox, the team handles it from attendo and links it to the document.
What it solves
In maintenance, facility and corporate services companies, much of the daily work happens in Teams. The plant manager writes in a chat that something is broken, and that creates no document, has no deadline and leaves no history.
With this integration, those messages reach the attendo Messaging inbox, just like a WhatsApp message. The team accepts them, replies from attendo and creates or links the document.
What it does
Teams comes into attendo as one more conversation channel, as text.
Each chat with the bot lands in Messaging with its queues, exclusive acceptance, transfer and internal notes.
The agent replies in attendo and the message reaches the Teams chat. They do not need Teams open.
From the conversation, a document is created or linked to an existing one, and the document links the thread.
Teams conversations reach one person, several or a group, with their business line.
The agent creates the Teams meeting from the document, in their own name, and the link stays on the record and in the customer’s activity.
With the same connection, the appointments you propose read availability in Outlook and are created with their Teams meeting.
What travels
Text travels through Teams. Meetings and appointments use the same Microsoft connection.

Getting started
The text channel and meetings work with your Microsoft 365. Your Microsoft 365 administrator sets it up with us: the app registration, the bot and installing it in Teams.
Status Available
Typical effort. Plan on your Microsoft 365 administrator: the registration, the bot and the installation in Teams are theirs.
Your administrator creates the app registration and the bot, with the Teams channel turned on.
You paste the app details, test the connection and register in Azure the messaging address that attendo gives you.
You choose who receives Teams conversations: one person, several or a group.
Your administrator installs the bot app in Teams and someone writes to it to test the round trip.
Honesty
It does not post attendo notifications to Teams channels. Teams is a conversation channel: messages come in and are answered.
There are no commands or buttons in Teams: the document is created from Messaging, in attendo.
Only text travels through Teams.
Accepting, transferring or closing a conversation is done in attendo.
