What it solves

The workday in humaneo, the work in attendo

HR records the workday in humaneo, but cannot see what was done during it. And without humaneo, attendo only knows the company’s general schedule: it cannot tell whether someone is off on Saturday, on vacation or working a holiday.

The integration closes both gaps. humaneo gets a summary of each person’s activity, with no confidential data. And attendo uses each person’s actual schedule to know whether they are working.

humaneo

What it is

An HR platform

humaneo is an HR platform: time and attendance, work calendars, shift rosters, vacations and absences for your workforce.

You subscribe to it separately, on its website. The integration with attendo is native and is set up with your humaneo account, with no coding.

What leaves attendo

Activity evidence, on each person’s workday

For each period, attendo summarizes what each person with tracking turned on did and sends it to their workday in humaneo, with a link back to attendo. The period is one hour by default and can be set from 15 minutes to a day. If there was no activity, nothing is sent.

What counts

  • Documents opened and closed, by type
  • Documents worked on: where they wrote on the timeline or changed the status
  • Calls answered and made, with their total duration
  • Emails sent from the timeline
  • Replies and internal notes

What never leaves attendo

  • Document subjects
  • Customers and contacts
  • The text of notes, replies and messages
  • Emails from third parties

Only counts, type names, durations and a link to attendo go out. With that evidence, a supervisor assesses the team’s efficiency in humaneo.

What comes into attendo

Each person’s actual schedule, every 15 minutes

attendo imports each person’s days as humaneo has already worked them out: their work pattern, reduced summer hours, the published roster, their holidays and their approved absences. It keeps 30 days back and 90 ahead.

Where attendo uses it

Flows

The “Is working?” condition and the schedule conditions look at the actual schedule of the assignee, a user or the members of a group.

Online booking

The slots you offer for a matched resource follow their schedule. A Saturday shift can open new slots.

Task schedule

The days a person does not work count as non-working days in their task schedule.

Field Radar

When it suggests which technician can go, it knows who is working right now.

Project capacity

In each person’s workload, a week of vacation does not count as available hours.

If the data is missing

If a person is not matched, has the calendar turned off, has no data for that day or humaneo does not respond, attendo uses the company calendar.

Each day comes in as work, rest, holiday, vacation or absence, with its time slots and time zone. A holiday worked comes in as a workday. Absences travel by category only: the reason never leaves humaneo.

People and permissions

You decide who is tracked

Each attendo user is matched with their humaneo employee. And each direction has its own switch, person by person.

Match by email

attendo matches each user with the humaneo employee who has the same email. The rest are assigned by hand, with a search by name, email or tax ID.

Tracking off by default

Sending evidence starts turned off for every person. Turning it on is an explicit decision by the administrator.

The calendar, separately

The calendar has its own switch. You can use someone’s actual schedule without sending their evidence, and the other way around.

A humaneo employee can only be matched with one attendo user.

What travels

What travels, and in which direction

attendo always opens the connection: humaneo never calls attendo.

Getting started

How to get started

In your humaneo account and in attendo, with no coding.

Typical effort. The technical part takes less than an hour. What takes time is the employment side: deciding who is tracked and informing your staff.

  1. Step 1

    You subscribe to humaneo

On its website, if you do not have it yet. Your account needs time tracking with evidence.

  2. Step 2

    You prepare humaneo

You turn on evidence in time tracking and generate the access credentials for attendo.

  3. Step 3

    You connect attendo

With your humaneo address and those credentials. You test the connection and choose how often evidence is sent.

  4. Step 4

    You match your people

By email, all at once, and by hand for anyone left.

  5. Step 5

    You inform, then switch on

You inform your staff. Then you turn on tracking and the calendar for whoever you choose, and review the first period.

Honesty

What it does not do

  • It does not clock in

The integration does not send clock-ins: with humaneo, the workday is recorded in humaneo, and attendo sends it activity evidence.

  • It does not run payroll

Neither attendo nor the integration calculates payroll. With humaneo, attendo covers the functions of HR software, except payroll.

  • It does not bring the reason for absences

Sick leave, a permitted leave or a personal day all come in as “absence”. The reason stays in humaneo.

  • SLAs follow the company calendar

SLA deadlines, automatic document assignment and maintenance planning use the company calendar, not each person’s schedule.

  • humaneo owns the calendars

attendo does not edit calendars or create or change employees in humaneo: humaneo is the only source.

  • A summary, not every action

One summary is sent per period, not one piece of evidence per call or per closure. Logged time and meetings do not travel.

  • The administrator decides on tracking

Employees cannot opt out of tracking from their own profile.

Before you switch it on

Inform your staff before sending evidence

The evidence is about the work of people on your team. The company has to inform its staff before turning on tracking, as employment and data protection rules require.

That is why tracking starts turned off and is switched on one person at a time.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need humaneo to use attendo?

No. On its own, attendo handles time per document and working time records. humaneo is a separate subscription if you want the rest of HR: with it, attendo covers the functions of HR software, except payroll.

Can humaneo see customers or document subjects?

No. It only gets counts, type names, durations and a link to attendo.

Do we have to track the whole team?

No. Tracking is turned on one person at a time and starts turned off.

Can I use the calendar without sending evidence?

Yes. Tracking and the calendar have separate switches.

What happens if humaneo does not respond?

Evidence waits in a queue and is retried, with nothing lost or duplicated. For the calendar, attendo uses the days already imported and, beyond them, the company calendar.

If I turn tracking off and back on, is the gap sent?

No. The first piece of evidence covers the time from when it was turned back on.

Does sick leave show up as such in attendo?

No. It shows up as “absence”, with no reason.

Where do I subscribe to humaneo?

On its website, humaneo.es, separately from attendo. The integration is native and is set up with your account.
