# Working hours, right where the work is

attendo tracks two kinds of time: what each person spends on each document, and their workday, with clock-ins and pauses. If you also subscribe to humaneo, you cover the rest of HR.

- Time per document
- Clock-ins and pauses with a reason
- Report per person

## Time tracking: what it does

### Time per document

Every ticket, work order or service report keeps the time each person spent on it. Those hours feed profitability per customer and per contract. They are logged for agents without a license too.

### Clock-ins and activities

Each person clocks in and out and notes which activity they are working on. The record lives on the same platform as their tickets, work orders and schedule.

### Pauses with a reason

Every pause is recorded with its reason. The whole workday can be read, with time worked and time paused, without rebuilding timesheets at month-end.

### Time tracking report

The time tracking report per agent, with filters and export to Excel or PDF. And if you want it in your inbox every week, you schedule its delivery.

### With humaneo, the rest of HR

[humaneo](https://attendo.me/en/add-ons/humaneo) is a separate, optional subscription. With it, attendo covers the functions of HR software, except payroll. Each person’s working hours come in every 15 minutes: holidays, vacations and absences, never the reason.

### Evidence for the supervisor

With humaneo, attendo sends it evidence of the actions taken in attendo, with a per-person switch that starts off. A supervisor reviews it and assesses the team’s efficiency.

## Step by step

This is how it is used day to day, on the same document as the rest of the modules.

### Step 1 · You load the business calendar

Schedules, holidays and absences for each person, or actual working hours from humaneo.

### Step 2 · Everyone records their workday

Clock-ins, activities and pauses with their reason.

### Step 3 · They log time to their work

Each ticket, work order or service report adds up the hours of whoever works on it.

### Step 4 · Coordinators put it to use

Field Radar and the daily dispatch plan know who is working.

### Step 5 · You review it in the report

Per person, with export and scheduled delivery by email.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does it work as a working time record?

Yes: it captures each person’s clock-ins, activities and reasons for each pause.

### Do I need humaneo?

Not for time per document or working time records. humaneo is a separate subscription if you want the rest of HR: with it, attendo covers the functions of HR software, except payroll. See [attendo + humaneo](https://attendo.me/en/add-ons/humaneo).

### What is the difference between time per document and the workday?

Time per document tells you how much went into each job. The workday tells you when each person worked, with their clock-ins and pauses. attendo tracks both.

### Can the coordinator see who is on a break?

Yes. In Field Radar each technician appears by status, including on a break or off shift.

### Is there a report to review it?

Yes, the time tracking report per agent, with filters, export and scheduled delivery by email.
