# Cookie policy

What this website stores in your browser, why and for how long, and how to choose. Technical cookies always work; analytics and advertising cookies only if you accept them.

Last updated: October 27, 2026

This English version is a translation. If it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails: [leer en español](https://attendo.me/politica-de-cookies).

## What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between pages or visits. There are similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage). In this policy we call all of them cookies, as article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) does.

Depending on who manages them, they are first-party (this website’s) or third-party. Depending on how long they last, they are session cookies (deleted when you close the browser or tab) or persistent. And depending on their purpose, they are technical (needed for what you ask for to work, or for security), analytics or advertising cookies. Technical cookies do not need your consent; the others do.

## Categories and how to choose

On your first visit we ask you with a notice at the bottom of the screen. You can accept all, reject all or choose by category, just as easily. Closing or ignoring the notice does not count as acceptance, and the website works the same if you reject.

- **Technical:** always on. They make the website work, remember your cookie choice, keep your conversation with the assistant if you use it, and protect the forms from bots.
- **Analytics:** only with your consent. There are two: Google Analytics 4, which measures statistically how the website is used (pages viewed, where you came from and which requests are sent, without your name, email or phone number), and remembering during your visit the campaign source you arrived with and the page you landed on (`attendo_attr`), so we know which campaigns and pages bring us requests. Google Analytics does not load until you accept. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which we use to count visits, does not use cookies or store anything in your browser, so it does not depend on this category.
- **Advertising:** only with your consent. Used to measure which requests come from our Google Ads ads (conversions), without your name, email or phone number. Google Ads does not load until you accept this category. There are no advertising tools from other platforms on the website.

We store your choice in your browser with its date and the version of this policy. We ask again when this policy changes and, at the latest, after 24 months, the period the Spanish Data Protection Agency’s cookie guidelines consider good practice.

You can also change or withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. Without JavaScript, the website loads nothing optional and shows no notice.

## What this website stores

We have reviewed the website’s code and the services it loads. This is everything that may be stored in your browser:

Cookies and browser storage used by this website

| Name | Owner | Purpose | Duration | Type |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `attendo_consent` (localStorage) | attendo (first-party) | Remembers your cookie choice, with its date and the version of this policy. | Up to 24 months, or until the policy changes | Technical, persistent |
| `attendo_attr` (sessionStorage) | attendo (first-party) | Remembers the source of your visit to send it with a form if you fill one in: the campaign parameters (utm\_source, utm\_medium, utm\_campaign, utm\_term and utm\_content), the click IDs of Google Ads (gclid), Microsoft Advertising (msclkid), Meta (fbclid) and LinkedIn (li\_fat\_id), the page you landed on and the website you came from. It is only stored if you have accepted analytics, and it is not sent anywhere unless you submit a form. Without that consent nothing is stored: the form only sends the parameters in its own page address. | Until you close the tab | Analytics, session |
| `attendo_solicitud` (sessionStorage) | attendo (first-party) | Shows you, on the confirmation page, the reference of the request you have just sent and the next step. It only stores the request ID and reference, the form, the language, the time, the form page and whether the confirmation email was sent; never your name, email, phone number, company or message. It is only created if you submit a form, and it stops being used after 2 hours. | Until you close the tab | Technical, session |
| `attendo_medidos` (sessionStorage) | attendo (first-party) | Prevents the same request from being counted twice in the statistics or in conversion measurement (for example, if you reload the confirmation page). It only stores the IDs of the requests already counted in this tab. It is only created if you have accepted analytics or advertising. | Until you close the tab | Analytics or advertising, session |
| `_ga`, `_ga_MRCC3FB978` | Google (Google Analytics 4, on our domain) | Tells visits and sessions apart for the website usage statistics. They are only created if you accept analytics, and they are deleted if you withdraw your consent. | 2 years | Analytics, persistent |
| `_gcl_au`, `_gcl_aw` | Google (Google Ads, on our domain) | Link a request sent from the website to the click on the Google Ads ad that brought it (conversion measurement). They are only created if you accept advertising, and are deleted if you withdraw consent. | 90 days | Advertising, persistent |
| Google cookies on its own domains (google.com, doubleclick.net) | Google (Google Ads) | Attribute the conversion to the ad. Only if you accept advertising; Google sets and manages them under its policy, and your browser may block them. | Per Google | Advertising, third-party |
| `attendo_chat` (sessionStorage) | attendo (first-party) | Keeps your conversation with the “Ask attendo” assistant while you browse the website. It is only created if you use the assistant. | Until you close the tab | Technical, session |
| `__cf_bm`, `cf_clearance`, `_cfuvid` | Cloudflare (on our domain) | Telling people from bots and protecting the website from attacks. They only appear if Cloudflare turns those protections on or shows you a challenge. | \_\_cf\_bm: 30 minutes · cf\_clearance: 30 minutes by default · \_cfuvid: session | Technical, security |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Cloudflare | Checks that whoever submits a form is a person. It loads on pages with a form and, for the newsletter subscription in the footer and the calculators’ email option, only when you start filling them in. According to Cloudflare, Turnstile does not use cookies to collect or store information: it analyzes browser signals at the time of the check. | While the check runs | Technical, security |

The website does not store calculator values or the chosen currency in your browser: they go in the page address. It does not use social media cookies or tracking pixels from other platforms. Before turning any on, we will add it to this table, update the policy version, and it will only load if you accept it.

## How to delete or block them in your browser

Besides using “Cookie settings”, you can delete what the website stores and block cookies in your browser. Session storage is cleared automatically when you close the tab. If you block Cloudflare cookies, you may not be able to submit the forms.
