These are the formulas with the calculator’s numbers: they change with what you enter above. ### The math, step by step Each line shows what we calculate, with which formula and with which numbers. 1. Hours a week on these tasks office staff × hours + field staff × hours `5 × 6 + 10 × 2` equals **50 h** 2. Hours a year hours a week × working weeks `50 × 45` equals **2,250 h** 3. Cost per year, today hours a year × cost per hour `2,250 × €25` equals **€56,250** 4. Hours you get back hours a year × reduction `2,250 × 25%` equals **562.5 h** 5. Savings per year hours you get back × cost per hour `562.5 × €25` equals **€14,063** ### Assumptions - We only count the time spent on the tasks you tell us about. Technical work and customer service are not included. - The time you get back is valued at your cost per hour. It is not cash leaving the bank: it is time your team spends on something else. - If you enter the cost of attendo, we treat it as a yearly cost. The months to recover it come from spreading the year’s savings over 12 months. - The reduction is the same for the office and the field. ### What we leave out We leave it out so we do not inflate the result. - The errors you stop making when nobody copies data by hand. - Getting paid sooner because service reports arrive sooner. That is what the service reports and paperwork calculator is for. - Better-served customers and renewals. It is a cautious starting point, not a measurement or a figure from a study. There is always work that does not get automated: reviewing, deciding and handling exceptions. Change it to whatever you think is reasonable, and try a lower value too. ### Why is the price of attendo not shown? Because we do not publish prices on the website: they depend on the modules, the number of people and the implementation. If you already have a proposal, enter its annual cost and you will see the return and the months to recover it. ### Are the savings money I really save? It is time valued at your cost per hour. It turns into money if that time goes to billable work or saves you a new hire. That is why we talk about hours you get back, not money coming in. ### How do I measure the hours spent on these tasks? Ask two or three people to write it down for a normal week. Have them note the time spent looking for information, retyping service reports, reconciling spreadsheets, chasing approvals and preparing reports. One measured week is worth more than any average. ### Do you store the data I enter? Not unless you ask us to email you the calculation. The calculation runs in your browser. The values stay in the page address so you can share the result: they only travel with the link if you share it.
